The cloud on the lower left is lit by the town below the cloud, which helps block light pollution and creates a prime dark sky location.
Three stars of the Constellation Crux, also known as Southern Cross, are visible just above horizon forming a triangle. The Southern Cross is mostly visible in the Southern Hemisphere, but also partially visible in La Palma due to its proximity to the Equator even though it’s in the Northern Hemisphere.
